Combination system has a nice solid click and chain is light but heavier duty than a cable lock. This is perfect for locking my brooks saddle to the frame.
Easy to use, Just works.
the chain is well built, sturdy lock and the chains are really strong. I like the fabric chain which makes for little rattling when I bring it along on a bike ride. It also helps with minimizing static discharges in winter which is sometime I find useful. Having 3 digits is good, but 4 is really hard for people to crack the combinations.
My daughter uses it to lock her bike at school. No issues yet. Works as expected.
This does the trick. It's not a beefy chain -- more like a medium-duty hardware store chain -- but you can't tell from the outside and it works well. I live in a community where bike use is widespread and unlocked bikes disappear quickly, but even minimally-locked bikes are fine. This lock is good enough to "keep honest people honest" -- a serious thief will cut right through it, but they'll do that to anything. I'll probably buy a couple more for my kids, as this is way easier to handle than the coiled cable locks they currently have, which are a pain to deal with.
It's easy to set the combo to whatever you want and the locking mechanism works well.
IT's got my bike on lock
Love this lock! I had a kryptonite lock that was way too complicated and kept me away from my bike more than robbers. If you are in a high security area, like a college campus or a busy city, then maybe a more secure lock would be the way to go for you, but this works fine for my suburban town where there are not a bunch of bikes stolen and I only take my bike out for short pleasure rides and small errands. Easy to set, easy to use, easy to get in and out with no fuss. I lock or unlock my bike and then spend 5 more mins helping my husband with his clunky, hard to use lock.
I really like the heft and quality of this bike lock even though I was using this for a cage lock.
Really nice lock, strong, not getting dirty easily, no need to use a key, long enough to lock with all kinds of staff.
