These stakes are identical to those which came standard with my expensive 4-season tent, only about 3" longer. The manufacturing quality and material is identical to the expensive stakes, possibly made by the same manufacturer in the same factory, somewhere in China. I bought them for use in sand and in high winds because they were longer than standard stakes. The pull cords aren't reflective, but I don't think reflectivity of the pulls makes any real difference because the pulls are so small and so low to the ground that little light is reflected. Reflective pulls won't keep you from tripping on guy lines in the dark; only reflective guy lines will do that. If you're camping on hard ground, long stakes can be a disadvantage if they can't be driven fully into the ground because you can trip on the projecting stakes, so think about how long the stakes really need to be. Six inch stakes work adequately in the vast majority of situations. But to get 10 high quality stakes for 10 bucks is a great value. The little red carrying sack is a bonus. It would be hard to go wrong with these, unless they're longer than you need.
